Sandra Kuhn-Chun, Head Groomer
My bio takes a lot of interesting twists and turns. I am a licensed cosmetologist and put myself through college working as a hairstylist and also on scholarship. After finishing graduate school, I taught English at the University of Miami for 17 years, leaving Miami to move to Georgia for my husband’s job and to focus on raising my two sons in Woodstock. During all of this time, animals were an important part of my life and I raised and showed Dobermans for many years.
When my children were mid sized, the recession hit and I needed to go back to work, but was overqualified to teach public school, and higher ed wasn’t hiring. So I decided to use combine my dog skills and Cosmetology skills and have been a groomer for the past ten years. I consider myself an animal whisperer and I enjoy making them feel good and making grooming a great experience for them.
